The Finnish Government Shared Services Centre for Finance and HR (Palkeet) is a major provider of group services in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Finance. Our goal is to promote the functionality of public administration by providing high-quality and cost-efficient expert services in the fields of financial and HR administration. Our roughly 700 professionals provide finance and HR services for central government agencies, departments and funds, as well as approx. 80,000 individual employees.
Our operations are based on service-mindedness, partnership, efficient processes and cost-effectiveness. Palkeet develops services and processes in cooperation with its customers and with the Ministry of Finance and the State Treasury.

We foster long-term relationships with our customers with the aim of building a shared, close-knit financial and HR management team with the customer’s personnel.
Palkeet operates on a cost price basis whereby payments cover the costs of service provision and development. Our turnover in 2022 was EUR 59.5 million.
We work flexibly at the office and remotely. Our offices are located in Joensuu (administrative headquarters), Helsinki, Hämeenlinna, Mikkeli and Pori.
