This accessibility policy pertains to the ePalkkio ja matka form, which is the responsibility of the Finnish Government Shared Services Centre for Finance and HR (Palkeet). The policy was created on 1 August 2024 and updated on 20 February 2025. The accessibility of the online service has been evaluated by a third-party specialist.

Problems with the reflow of the form’s elements
Switching from one tab to another on a mobile device can be a challenge when using assistive devices.
The following accessibility requirements are not met: WCAG 1.4.10 Reflow (AA).
Challenges in identifying errors in mandatory fields
If any mandatory fields are left empty, a notification text will appear in red at the top of the page and next to the respective fields. A screen reader user must find the empty fields by scrolling through the fields again.
The following accessibility requirements are not met: WCAG 3.3.1 Error Identification (A).
Re-authenticating and session expiration
When using Suomi.fi identification, the maximum session length is 30 minutes. A notification will be issued when a session is about to expire, but if the session expires despite the warning, the user will not be able to save their incomplete form. An incomplete form can only be saved during a session. In order to successfully save the form, the information entered into the form must be in the correct format.
The following accessibility requirements are not met: WCAG 2.2.5 Re-authenticating (AAA).
Deficiencies in contrast
The contrast between text and background colour is insufficient in all parts of the form and PDF printout.
The following accessibility requirements are not met: WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (AA).

The ePalkkio ja matka form was first introduced in May 2022. The form has been updated and accessibility improvements have been made to it in January 2025.
