Payment term extension and due date postponement application
If necessary, you can apply for a payment term extension for invoices sent by central government organisations. Applying for a payment term extension means postponing the due date.
A payment term extension cannot be granted if you have already postponed the due date of the invoice. The due date can be postponed for a maximum of 3 months. The length of the payment term depends on the sum of the invoice.
You can apply for a payment term extension by filling in the Payment term form on suomi.fi.
Once you have filled in and submitted the form, you will later receive an email or telephone confirmation of the successful postponement of the due date.
